The Mobile Robot platform is the basic mobile setup required to perform mobility experiments, navigation, mapping and other behaviors. It is a combination of various physical components (hardware) and computational (software) components. The Mobile Robot base comes with hinged battery access door, 1 battery, 4 wheel encoder and a micro controller with ACROS firmware, as well as integrated with on board computer, laser range finder, stereo vision camera, pan tilt unit and many more optional accessories. Software's and libraries will be provided to demonstrate the basic functionalities of the equipment.
